Thoughts of you rush through my mind

A completely new experience for me

You went from nothing

To the heights of my list

Sometimes I think I can get by

Without you by my side

But then rational thought comes

I cannot imagine a day going by

Where I do not think of you

A day where I do not long for your presence

Hoping for your warm caress

Knowing deep inside I must wait

I cannot see you that day

And I count down until I see you again

It is inexpressible

What I feel for you cannot be explained

Or shown by my petty body language

Time may pass,

But you will always stay in my heart

No matter where I am

Or who I am with

A part of me will always belong to you

I hope you always know that

I love you

And nothing is going to take that away
