Not quite sure what happened

I don't have any memory

At least not on the previous

The after effect was obvious

Leaving you confused

As to how I was reacting

Here is my simple answer

I am plain confused

Not quite sure what happened

Not quite sure it was right

Moment meant to be perfect

Ruined by my not being alert

I should have known

I need to keep alive with you

Never know what could happen next

But now the silence just fills my being

As I think, confused

Not knowing what is happening

Least of all what happened
