Second time since that day

Hasn't even been a week

Already better than past experiences

Different in so many ways

I would rather sit with you

Than by you

So that I don't feel rejected

I want my head on your shoulder

But yours on mine works well too

So warm everywhere

I wished so much just for you to sleep

Just so I could hug you

But I would be asleep by that point

Off in dreamland together

The second time I've dreamed of such a moment

And actually been able to imagine

Once as just a child

But now it is for real

Who cares about the speech

Most of it doesn't make sense anyway

"Do you want to dance"

Is about all that I can tell

Falling asleep even now

Just thinking about you

Hoping my dreaming will be happy
