You found me in the shadow

With the darkness creeping over me

Sorrow pouring through my veins

And hatred flowing through me

You stole a light from somewhere else

And shown it up my alley

So I could see the gathering love

And finally realize the sun



You found me in the seas of confusion

Not knowing who to follow

Embranglement drowning me thoroughly

And brokenness seeping

You snuck in a life raft from the harbor

And sent down your rope

Pulling me back to life

To see the joy and happiness



You found me in my life

Unknowing and afraid of the future

Spirit covering my empty doors

And animation not succeeding

You grabbed my hand from my tunnel

And tore me out of the dark

Bringing life back to me

To see how wonderful life is
