I thought you were my friend

I thought you were there until the end

Turns out I was mistaken as can be

Blinders keep me from what you see

What is so horrible about me now

That makes me seem like such a cow

I thought you wanted me there for you

I thought what you did together, I would do too

Turns out I have a different frame of mind

At least that is the problem I find
