They questioned me

They stripped me bare

I paid my millionth fee

Because you're never there



Why did you leave

For me to face the battle alone

The opponents seem so naive

But me you would condone



I've cried myself to sleep

Knowing I love you enough to show

But the thought I will not keep

If you never know



So here I will tell you

About the feelings of my heart

The feel of everything you do

No matter sweet or tart



My ups and downs are as the tide

You are the unshowing moon

With my friend  I will confide

But they shall not trust a loon



So it's me against the enemy

You cowardess finally shows

I wonder if you love me

It's you who really knows



So if you do, show me now

Give the rest of them a chance

Let us not hang off a bough

Appear together at a glance.
