Was I ever sleeping on this night

Lying there so calmly

I know I thought about it

But I just couldn't

I don't know how it happened though

That thing that you did to me

I brought back alive

Realizing that this was not the place

No sleeping should be done here

While conscious or unconscious

Watch your every move

I never know when something may happen

That I would wish to remember

For the rest of my life

How would I explain this moment

I was confused as ever

As I still am right now

Was I your resting angel

You say you would not know

So obviously not

I was awake, at least with my eyes open

When you wet my lips

And I thought, "Remember this."
