Interrupted
Have you ever been so rudely interrupted.
So bad you were embarrassed.
Well let me tell you I can't remember the last time I wasn't.
No one has ever let me finish a sentence, they really haven't.
Sometimes they'll remember "oh right you said something."
They don't realize how much you're hurting.
My mother said, "People like the sound of their own voice."
To cut me off, it's their own choice.
I guess i'm not like other people.
I've never heard my voice, I don't even know if it's strong or feeble.
It's so sad when you hear your broken voice for the first time.
And realize your only real voice is on paper in a rhyme.
