Destiny begets love to be magical
In this world full of tragedy and trial
Only to bring myself to being delusional
More of make-believe and you being cynical

 

Entering this kind of game is for me to blame
Delivering me into a dark place of shame
Entrust myself to your captivating name
Savoring me with your words that are gone lame

 

Distress comes when you suddenly disappear
Opt in leading me to worries and fear
Never imagined that I will shed a tear
Dearly making myself fall for someone so unclear

 

I asked for the stars to give me a sign

Remembering our times that seem to decline
One wish on this night so serene and fine
Make me smile again and simply be mine

 

Everyday I'm patiently waiting for you
Realize that I'm here wanting to be with you
Over and over I want to tell you that it's true
I LIKE YOU, DID YOU EVER FEEL IT TOO?

Author's Notes/Comments: 

There's this guy I really like. It was my last year in college when we had known each other. I decided to stay focused on my studies so I lessen hanging out with him. After I graduated, I started communicating with him again but suddenly, it just stopped. One night, I prayed. It's been a while since we talked. So I asked for a sign that if he will send me a text message saying GOODNIGHT, that means he is my soul mate. I waited til 12mn but he didn't text me so I went to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I screamed as I finished reading a goodnight message from him at 12:30am. But after all the efforts I made to let him know that I like him, I can feel that he has changed. Now, I'm just hoping that he will realize how much he means to me.

The first letter of each line stands for his whole name. :)
