Young Love Is Blind

Folder:
Our Fold Songs

I had the feather, she had the fountain and we wrote

a letter of love,

that we sung to the Gods above.

And they looked down, right on down without a single tear or a frown.

And we were proud, oh so proud that we laughed and danced around.

And it was ace to see that look upon my lovely`s face.

And she keeps tellin me the world is such a lovely place,

And songs like this are used as evidence to state her case,

So let the scallies sing, as robbers dance to alarm bell rings.

I guess these are some of the joys she brings.

She brought the pillow, we`re under the willow,

down by the river side.

My mind was open wide.

She read me a poem then i started knowing all

the things that she felt inside.

And we were proud, oh so proud that we laughed and danced around.

And cos she got through to me, we carved our names into that tree.

And she keeps tellin me the world is such a lovely place,

And songs like this are used as evidence to state her case.

So let the homeless freeze as dealers bring the children

to their knees.

I guess these aren`t some of the joys she sees.
