...if you're going to san francisco, make sure to wear some flowers in your hair...
I fell in love with your spectacular skyline at the very first look
I don't want this splendid city to be just another chapter, I want it to be the entire book
I saw all of your dollhouses perfectly lined up
I quenched my thirst in the golden state drinking from a golden cup
I saw the most amazing view from the top of Hawk Hill, I even spent some time behind Alcatraz's bars
From the pinnacle of nob hill, I saw the cable cars reaching out to touch the shimmering stars
It was right around the time while I was walking around fisherman's wharf pier #39
That I knew in my mind that I would do anything to make you mine
And right around the corner of Ashbury and Haight
Is where I realized that somehow a city could be my soulmate
I'll pack my bags and give all of my other possessions away
Just to be able to wake up everyday to a picture perfect view of your breathtaking bay
San Francisco, please take me in your arms, if I must I will beg and plead
I'll burn all my bridges back home, for the Golden Gate is the only one i'll now ever need
And now when I travel, any other place I see only makes me realize even more that you're truly the best
In my eyes you are definitely the crown jewel of the entire globe, not just of all the West.
And San Francisco, when this wandering boy comes to call you home, will you please open your golden doors for me?
Just like the saying says, I left my heart in San Francisco, and I plan to go back to keep it some everlasting company ASAP
