Look at all of these colors that I bleed for you
I’ve made a rainbow in the form of a puzzle
And I assure you that the pieces will fit
As long as you try
I grabbed a little bit of blue from the ocean
White from the clouds
Green from the grass
Yellow from the sun
And red from my very own heart
Just to paint a picture of the perfection that I envision
When your eyes are locked upon mine
The city streets are clamorous and crowded tonight
They remind me of that precious picture
My unstable shadow silent at my side
I suffocate from streetlamps and stop lights at every intersection
And my dreams descend as I sink into the opaque abyss far below
Look at all of these colors that I weep for you
I’ve kidnapped the visible spectrum in the form of a puzzle
But I forgot that your colorblind eyes can only see
Black and gray
