Mountaineers

Folder:
Triumvirate

Where day knows no difference from night

Where Outer Space tickles Earth

Opportunistic eyes envision the most majestic sight

Allowing for my disenchantment’s death and my inspiration’s birth

While walking on the comfortable clouds below

The stars look like a bunch of little illuminated holes in Heaven’s floor

In this utopia of solitude and silence and snow

You can hear the voice of God louder than ever before

My spirit flaps its wings and flies freely in the air

I forever freeze this magnificent moment in time

Despite all the disenchantment and desolation and despair

The journey was definitely worth the climb

We are all merely mountaineers

Some ascend to success while some plummet back to the bottom where they begun

So I pray that someday you can join me on this pinnacle of forgotten frontier

And together we can reach for Heaven…together we can touch the sun
