But nothing ever happened here

And I can’t believe the mess we made

But all our problems will surely fade

Everyday I just want to hear you say “yes”

So take this eraser

And rub it on the paper

Of our past

So take this rhyme

And freeze it in time

So this moment will always last

We can erase our mistakes

Do whatever it takes

To get back to the way things were before
