Red in the Black
A singular thought torn up into pieces
searching through them to find the reason
each one as real as the next, needing the right dose
a quick fix, a real hit, something I can never get
holding unto for a moment, cocky and proud
, watching it fade away, why can't it stay
too scared to look it in the eye, too scared to defy
so I begin to deny, loosing a grip once held tight
it has me down in the count, loosing the fight
find solitude and begin to reach a new height
then back to the voices which echo in my head
all around me, only rest now found in bed
words loudly said, questions stated never read
answers trickle down from letters in red
too stubborn to get them in my head
guilt fed into it, guilt ran away from it
one true identity, one true reality
existance through our eyes together
and it doesn't matter whether we both
see it as the same, because its the one game
it comes with pain, to rearrange the insane
from birth to grave, so keep on walking ahead
find yourself under the glass, use inspection,
look at your reflection, many thoughts happen
but only one mind in the man can create, can hate
and begin to confiscate our only fate
chosen by birth, and freedom to live, to give
to find, to choose, to right, to wrong
to the ground, to the sky, then we die
we ask why, its not suprise, no comprimise
to die is no demise, to die is to live
