There's a point in the Bible where Jesus realizes he has to die for the sins of the world. This somehow inspires Christians to hold him in even greater reverence and admiration.
There's now a point in my life where I realize I have to die too. I'm not even seeking reverence or admiration; shall I also do it for the sins of the world?
Ha! No way.
Just like God, I'll do it only for all who sinned against me.
