Cancer transformed my will to live
Cancer brought me loved ones to be with
Cancer taught me my life is finite
Cancer keeps me warm at night
And in that finite space and time
In this world where I've made my rhymes
Cancer listens to the words I've said
While holding me close in bed
Cancer
You might live beyond my stay
But I've contentment 'til my last day
Cancer gave this eternal blessing
To someone you shouldn't've messed with
Cancer went out of it's way to choose me!
And was willing to grow with me too!
