Goodbye Dali


I was holding on to her instead of holding to the reality of her. To hold her like she needs to be held I must learn to let go of what's not real. 


And out of my life, she is a mere memory vanishing every moment I breathe her sigh. 


Hello Picasso


If all poets must have an unrequited love, does having several unrequited loves mean I am a better poet?


Yeah I know, Picasso ain't a poet. 


But Picasso is an "artist."  


And so was Dolly.
