She was as to a slow gentle rain, with a smooth pleasant touch
Precious times taken for granted, seemed time spent too much
My love, my life, my wife, she was the meaning to my existence
I love her now and forever still, though I no longer have a chance
She was taken away from me, not by a man for himself anyway
She was taken from me by crossfire, a rival gangs bullet strayed
So I now make a life ending journey, one of murderous revenge
Soon I will be joining my love, my forever wife as well as friend
A bandana missing once upon my head, I watch each direction
As I head to rival territory, and cross this multilane intersection
No longer do I wear gang colors, no longer is it "we" or "they"
I walk alone for this is now my battle, no help shall I have today
Oh my dearest Melissa, I shall as well join you in heaven soon
For this pain is nothing compared to losing my stars and moon
You were my stars, my moon, as well as the sun in my days sky
When rain clouds were overhead, for me my tears you did cry
So Melissa, my love, my life, my dearly departed loving wife
I hope that we’ll be reunited again in heaven, as man and wife
