Forsaken me you have

Alone in the night,

God is done...

And died like the sparrow I killed with loves might,

But a snake bound to earth

Forever asleep in my palm you are,

This may be love I feel for you

But die, thy love is venom

Rain from heaven,

Pure as black can be,

White as night could try,

Desperately I see the thing I sought to be

But now I stay and pray...

For you to obey thy heart and stay with me.
