Why is it that when it's laundry day

The cats and dogs are about?

They keep taking off with the clothes

And are running about.



I try to catch them

So, I can get my clothes clean,

They make me chase them around corners

I think that's rather mean.



I end up having socks missing

And shirts rolled up into a ball,

Those stinking animals

Really know how to drive me up the wall.
