Key to the unlocked door

This key sits and gathers rust

its not much of use anymore

It used to guard all of my secrets

it used to hide all my fears

sort of like pandoras box

except i was never one to keep my demons locked up,

then again I was never much for demons

I held all my treasures and all i held dear inside this little box

behind this big door

and I hid the key from the world,

but you never did need the key.

You looked right in my eyes,

and the lock quickly disolved

and my heart was open to thee.

Now my secrets are ours

and my fears are gone,

and this key just gathers rust.
