Swandive From Heaven
A lone feather sways directly overneath the clouds
slowly it descends
dancing like a heart filled with laughter
until it resst calmly at my feet
Two more feathers tranform bathing me in two rays of light
One my Sun
One my Moon
One by one each feather falls from above the clouds
drenching me in a rain of beauty
and the tears of happiness form someone above
She awaits barefooted upon a cloud
watching over me
knowing my beliefs and how I live my life
the pearly gates of Heaven is not a choice for me. but
I am not an enemy of her way of life
just a brethren of a different choice
Just like her God and his Godess
Siblings in spirit
I count the stars wondering what the sky holds
She stares upon a mortal man
with an immortal imagination
her wings empty
no longer held up by the shell of her wings
that once kept her in this holy place where she will return when it is time
She takes a swandive from the Heavens
Two different worlds
Two different styles
Two different lives
Two hearts
Two dreams
I watch an Angel fall
I put out my arms, and
catch her with my heart
