Part 2 -



I dream not of who I was,

but who I could be,

and what I could have done to change things,

and make them different from what I see.

I face my past everyday

when I create my future one step by one step,

and for every inch forward,

there lies all those feet behind me and beside me,

because the path has not been traveled alone.

I've had friend and foe with me,

I've had peace and war,

and I've realized when u have one you want the other

be it the war of guns or the war of love,

all wounds heal be it bullet or broken heart,

just the amount of time it take changes

depending how deep the wound.

A band-aid works both ways.
