Judge Innocence

a black man walks down the street

walk faster before theres a fight

life is short, he might have a gun

but tommorow's just a stereotype

blue eyes see the pain in his eyes

a stiff suit sees yours

blonde curls will accept the innocent

black shoes will only conform

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is by far my favorite poem!!!!
It's about racist steroetypes, black shoes and stiff suit refer to the white business men so often racist and blue eyes an blonde curls is symbolic of a child watching either from heaven or on the street.
