My grandfather´s pipe, a brown and black, woody, elegant and great pipe. I always see my grandfather with his pipe, when he wakes up, in his work, watching television, at the end of the meal, at any hour he can be smoking. With his friends, with his wife, with his children, with anyone he is he had his pipe. He had that special pipe for about 15 or 20 years ago, more less, it was a special gift from his children, they gave it in a special day, when he received an architectural award. The image of my grandfather and his pipe is in any memory I have of him. When he is working making his plans, he kept his pipe beside him and it inspires him to have new ideas, when my sister and I were little, when we go to his house, he told us different stories, of his childhood, of the city of anything he can, but he always was smoking of his pipe. Even that he had like a million other pipes, because he likes buying pipes, if he sees one pipe he get it, but he always smokes of the same wonderful pipe, he says that the tobacco don’t feels the same in other pipe, just in his special pipe. The smell of tobacco is everywhere in his house, in his bedroom specially, in his car, wherever he walks, is that special smell. In any event, in any day, special or not he is smoking with his pipe, even if is a rainy or sunny day, he loves it and he can´t be without it any moment. In Christmas, in new year´s eve, in father or mother´s day, in any family event he was with his pipe. When we go out, when we all go on vacation, he don’t left his pipe in his house, he just takes his pipe with him. Now that he is not here, the smell of the tobacco is still in his bedroom and in his car. My grandmother just keeps that special pipe instead of the others. My grandfather was a strong person just like the wood of his pipe, he never give up even if the things are going bad, he just go ahead. He also was very elegant in the way he dressed and in the way he talk; my grandfather was a great person, he taught me a lot of things, and he is always present with me, he just left me a lot good stuff.
