Almost out of nowhere

The tears start to form

And my vision begins to blur

My throat tightens a little

And my mind reels from the thought

Of tears streaming down my face

So I suck it all back in

I keep the tears from falling

I keep myself from slipping

And I sink back

Into a realm of unfeeling
