You lose yourself

Fake happiness
You realize this isn’t worth not knowing yourself
A hand reaches out in the darkness
And you stretch all your muscles out to grab it
Slowly your hauled onto a lifeboat
The clouds start to diminish
The sea to calm
And you look around to see who pulled you out
You find yourself looking into the faces of your closest friends
Who once again proved
