She thought he was the cure
The cure to her broken heart
But she was fooled again by the lies he said
That she was everything to him
And that he would love her forever
Just like her father said before
So she lets go of his grasp,
She let go of the artificial love they had
And slowly drowns mutely between the crowd
Wanting him to grab her hand and save her
Yet he did not love her- he loved something else more
And let her stop breathing as she hit the bottom of the pool
Because without any love, she would die.
