To hear your laugh
And how quiet you talk
Of being that close to you
It is never enough
When we do spend time together
The minutes seem like hours
When in fact it’s the opposite but
It is never enough
Now that we are trying
To talk dad into letting us
Be together, we both find that
It is never enough
You brought up the idea
Of us getting married one day
And having babies but then again
It is never enough
It never will be
Because when we get what we want
We sit and think of the next thing because
It is never enough

When two people find real
When two people find real love,, time and ideas seem endless... Yes, you can't have enough of each other and everything... Hmmm... I don't know why I shared that,-- but this poem exactly describes how it is with love ...
There is not enough words to express love or enough time to love...

That is why I wrote this poem. I always state what I am feelin that particular moment. I felt at the time (heck I always feel this) that I just want to make two become one.
And you shared that because it is what u feel. And I thank you for your comment.
But I feel I must say, that over eleven years, I have tried to write about love and what it does to you. Yet, I have always fallen short. I think that is just because no one, not even Shakespear or Dorothy Parker or take your pick of famous poets, can come close to writing what it is to be in love.

Honestly,
even that wasn't as big of a description I could give. But, I felt it was just enough. I have many, many poems about love, but I think this one just trumped them all.
