Never thought it would apply to me

Never thought it could be

But I am inside and out

I haven’t the strength to fight

I was proud of my strength

But oh how the mighty have fallen

I can hear them now

The enemies’ trumpets calling

Laughing at my defeat

I can hear them mocking me

I’ve always been weak

Now I can finally see
