What do you when it over

When that flame burned so hot

Is extinguished and the smoke has dispersed

It may not be your fault or mine

This was to happen it was obvious

Sooner or later it would, we knew it

The time has come for us

I can feel it I know you can too

That magical feeling has left us both

That feeling that made us soar

Above everyone and everything

All we needed was each other

We were invincible, you and I

Nothing could get to us

It was so perfect, we were so perfect

But for some reason that feeling faded

But it was so strong our bond was so strong

We were inseparable, bonded with love

I can’t understand it, as easy as it seems

The thought is incomprehensible

How something how something so real can fade

So unbelievably quickly it did so

That’s why I understand it not

I only know one thing at this point

I want that feeling back so badly

I need to feel it again; I need it from you
It felt so real and right with you

I can’t imagine it from anyone else

But I suppose I must at least try to

For I ended our relationship, ended it all

I ended it on the grounds that things had changed

You don’t call or try at all it seems

Although I have pleaded for you to do so

I guess I shouldn’t dwell on the past

Even though it hurts me I do it anyway

Even though it didn't appear so, it did

Its over and that is the final word

The very painstaking one

That word is "goodbye"
