Worth The Wait
I have nothing to complain about.
I have my health and family.
Things could always be worse.
I have to constantly remind myself.
Other people have it far worse.
Life will turn-around one day.
Believe me when I say,
I'm right up your alley.
It'll be worth the wait.
One day we'll be happy again.
Wether alone or together,
You'll be a part of me forever.
Just to know you is enough.
I'm not asking anything from you,
Take care of yourself first.
Be who you want to be,
Do what you want to do.
Just give me your ear now and then.
That's all I ask of you.
It's funny how fools fall in love.
We were young and sprung.
I've never believed in love @ first sight.
Until the day you graced my eyes.
I know in the end it'll be worth the wait.
I'd be happy if we hung-out as friends.
Who knows where our story ends.
Let's just try to focus on the "bigger picture"
We have to build our own futures first.
Before we get back to being us.
I now know love isn't intended to be perfect.
We can't help who we happen to fall for.
You can't go looking for it, it has to hit you.
When it does the whole world fades away.
You feel so invincible and like you can do anything.
Nothing else seems to matter but that other person.
It makes you do crazy things inconceivable.
I'd said the ugliest things yet still find you beautiful.
Words are intend to hurt, but the heart never lies.
There are indeed good and bad times.
But none-the-less there memories just the same.
It takes two there's really no one to blame.
The simple things mean the most,everything is magical.
All of a sudden life seem more colorful and real.
You literally look at God's gifts in a different light.
You feel like the most beautiful creature on Earth.
Anyway that's how it makes me feel.
Things will work out right in the end.
Patience has always been my friend.
There's still many more roads to take.
Life isn't over yet its just begun.
Its possible that anything could happen.
Within me there's no vacancy.
No one else will ever behold my heart.
I'm not looking for something I've already found.
I'm saying that you'll always be my one in a million.
Those other fishes could keep on swimming.
Know that I'm waiting for you on the shore.
