Warming me with loyal affection

Giving my mind peace

Producing persistent protection

From heartbreak

And perilous manipulation

And we love

His presence freshens the atmosphere

He gives blues new hues

And stars new glitter

And the birds seem to speak our language

Love

And the trees preach with breezy deformation

Leaves brush our hair

His arms confine me to his excellence

I am captivated by his whole existence

And we love

So I close my eyes

To sleep in his extraordinary essence

I drown in his coffee brown gaze

His fingers inscribe invisible poetry

Below the tattoo on my back

And I feel every word
