The day that you told me

we were through,

Was the day that you

broke my heart in two.

I gave you my love

and was faithful to you,

Why did you leave me,

I have no clue.

You were my world,

and the love of my life,

I was so happy

to become your wife.

I gave you my heart,

and everything I could,

but you stood there

and told me that I was no good.

You won't see me cry and

You won't see me frown,

I'm not going to let you

bring me down.

Somewhere out there,

I know this is true.

Someone will appreciate the things that I do.

Someone who's love is kind and true

Someone who is so much better than you.
