When I die I will be willing
To leave this world behind in my stride
For when I go, I'll be happy don't you know
O God I'll see you up there when I die
I may have lived a good life, although I have been bad at times
But I am truly sorry, not for what I've done and said
But for what I have failed to do, and the times I turned my head.
For in my words and actions, no purer soul you'd find.
Though a sorry sight I prove to be,
when you see the nature of my mind
In the end its fear that binds
The fear of being left behind
A brand new world you'll never see
Yet I have faith in all but me
