I shall remain silent 

I shall not speak my heart,

My soul

I shall keep to myself,

my hopes,

my dreams, 

my truths.

I shall not speak aloud,

nor even whisper my soul,

to anyone at all.

For if I remain silent, 

and bear the burden of

my soul alone,

I cannot be hurt by any, 

not by you, 

not even by myself.
