This Kiss

Is this kiss my life,

 or my death?

An enlightening truth,

 or a horrible lie?

My salvation,

or my damnation?

In this kiss,

I find my heart,

my soul,

waxing and waning,

seesawing back and forth,

 both in wonderous delight,

 and torturous pain.

Is this kiss my life,

 or my death?

A rebirth of joy,

or the dark end of all?

This kiss is all of that,

and more.
