You're In Control

You're in control,

just the way I like

it.

Your eyes are steely,

eliciting fear and dread

from most,

but from me,

respect for your certainty,

your resolve.

You're in control,

and I readily accept it.

Your grip might invite

terror and pain from

most,

but from me,

a firmness to make

the world right.

You're in control,

just the way I like

it.

You have me,

you hold me,

I am all yours.
