Each morning at six her day begins.
She stumbles from the bed, with hair curlers and pins.
With her eyes half closed, she makes her way,
To wash her face and welcome the day.
When she's wide awake she's full of good cheer.
She comes to the doorway and says " wake up my dear"
Then I open my eyes, her smiling face I see.
There's nothing on Earth more precious to me.
She says get up my dear, its getting late.
You have to get dressed, your job won't wait.
My clean shirt is waiting, my pants are pressed.
Speak of good Wives, well I've got the best.
I jump in my clothes, and rush down the hall.
My breakfast is waiting hot cakes and all.
When we've finished our breakfast.
The day's number one rule.
She takes me to work,
And our Daughter to school.
Then she goes to work, and earns pretty good pay.
That proves women are wonderful in every little way
