So long the days are now,
You entered our lives with a smile
And laughter that brightened our lives
For all eternity.
Yesterday, the day came and left
As did the life of a young man,
A young father.
You just left.
You left the world,
Your wife and your daughter..
Your mother’s crying,
The tears, it does bother.
All of this heartache and pain.
But you, your laughter and smile
Will soon shine through.
Won’t ever forget you no matter.
We know that you’re in heaven,
Resting peacefully watching
Your little daughter
With eyes so big, and filled with wonder.
Her daddy’s gone.
Her true father
But she’ll soon realize
