Lord. please grant that my medically afflicted situation

(regardless of its troubled inconvenience or duration),

may become a prayer in perpetuity

wth the Liturgical calendar to give it continuity;

so that even the pains that agonize in my core

shall rise above torn tissue or ulceration---

as well as the manufacture of sediment and stones---

to achieve inclusion and participation

in the Blessed Holy Spirit's unutterable groaning.

And if this season proves itself to be my lasy Lent,

I pray, You, let me serve it in prayer without procrastination:

until, I am called from this world and its strifes to soar

 to You, Lord, becoming in your presence the more

Starward, and its emblem the color---Coerulescent.
