So quiet and shy
So brave, so divine
So beautiful and pretty
It’s a pity she’s married to my daddy (kidding)
Such an angle in disguise
How I love your brown eyes
In her own world she’s so happy
But her cooking is kinder crappy
Though your cooking is so bad
I can’t help seeing you sad
So I gather up my strength and swallow your dish like it was delicious
She looks at me so proud
And away from her eyes, I frown
She’s nothing but precious to me
And I dread the day when she has to leave me
But I thank God for my Mom and will always hold her dear to my heart…
