Magnificent sky, God's cover

showing me love is boundless

as it searches for my lover



Pay attention, he's not there

He's stuck here, within me

breathing through my life's blood



Greeting me when I arise

waiting for me when I retire

Don't tell me, I sleep alone



I hear his voice

I even taste his tongue

This is why I dream



Strong can be my days

of keeping busy, but these nights

belonging to someone else are weak



Let me live another lifetime

of only pain

knowing what only thou knowest



That I will have

just one more day

with my Michael



Grateful I've remained, as promised

but this continual yearning

makes me only half of whom thou hast wanted
