Death of the patriot
is it really any wonder why the hands that hold us under
are the same hands that seem to know the only way
to get us through the thickness, they know our only weakness
and they capitolize on it a little more each and every day
the majority they can satisfy, by just covering their eyes
and whisper softly what's going on that we cant see
they dump us off of gun boats, then use us as their scape goats
"support your troops" really means "die for my greed"
acting as heroes on a mission, to rid the world of opposition
that would take what ever freedom we have left
patriotism has been killed, acting against its once strong will
saying its for our own good instead of civil theft
a secret brotherhood, controlling what we shouldn't and what we could
do as the descendents of revolutinary minds
question the ones who stand before you, the ones who seem to ignore you
while they swing the sword of freedom at you from behind
