What do I need do, how can I get you to see
The same way I see you, you see, when you look at me?
You take other lovers, that treat you like shit
While the love that I offer, you seem afraid of it!
We both know you love me, but you bury it inside
Even to yourself, it's something you hide.
If you are not careful, one day, I'll just go away
Then in your heart I'll be replaced, with regret everyday.
What are you afraid of, when it comes to us two?
Why cant you believe, you deserve true love too?
You push me away further, more as each day ends
Someday you will have pushed so hard, we wont even be friends.
Is that what you want? I dont really think so
But at the rate we are going, our friendship will end.
Are you really satisfied, and happy with what you have got?
If so, then I'm sorry... I cant be like the one you have got.
I will respect you and not control who you are..
