I'm missing you

You and your everything

Everything we used to do when no one else could understand

Understand that you'll always be a part of me

I can feel you in the moisture in my eyes

Drops of shame rolling down my fact and to my lips

I'm licking it in and locking it inside me

Why won't you leave me alone

Why are you still inside me

Hiding in the shadows of my mind

Walking down the alleys of the burning refuse

And hiding in the shadows of the old condemned memories

Holding onto yourself when your focus kills itself

And laughing in the face of my persistence

Perfection never felt until the moment had passed by

Abused, forsaken, taken for granted, and I don't even know why I survived

But not until it's gone did I recognize

That heaven is inside my head when we are together

Forever is today when we are together

Nothing could go wrong when we are together

I can hear your god speak when we are together

I can feel you living when we are apart

Breathing feels like hell when we are apart

I'll always be standing here

Waiting in the corners of your life

I'll be there before you need me and after it's all done

Understanding my world is one thing you could do

And understanding yours was one thing I'd never stop trying for

I thought that it would work out if I just tried hard enough

My earth my world and all the sea of stars

Blending with eternity and into nothingness
