In Cold Blood.

ruby,

you're a failure,

maybe, you were meant for better things,

this place was always unlike you, but without you, it would never be the same,

though you've been a stranger, to yourself and the world,

though you try for the never,

it wasn't your time to go, to pass out into nothingness,

with your breeze blown head,

you would be gone forever,

(yet),

in an instant, where would your promises be?,

on the verge of where i can't meet you,

i'll find a way to forget you,

and what of it?,

drag yourself down, so pale and sick,

maybe someone will expect you in your end?,

respect that for what you had, you took it,

and i who touched you so deeply,

though you meant nothing,

would keep it, your shadow,

your many walls to to which you withdraw, safely from the hurt,

and still,

you cut yourself, to see what this is all about,

never knowing,

that here in the soft and subtle shade of reality this would never work,

an emotional torture,

your depression pushes me further away,

try for freedom once more,

for what, and whatever, you don't even know,

and i can't help get you through,

for often all i see are my scars,

and i am just like you.
