I can feel the anger burning inside
The looks she gives me
The remarks with her eyes, so snide
What did I do to deserve to be hated
Tell me, what kind of picture have I painted
What do you see
That makes you despise me
All I did was care about
Someone that you let down
And now you suddenly notice
That your games have failed you now
Though you mess with my head
I won't let you win
I won't be misled
Instead of anger, my heart burns with sorrow
For the wonder of the misery you borrow
You think you know me
Well think again
The ending you're thinking, won't be the end
And I won't join in
This little high school game
For all of your drama, I won't fuel your flame
Instead I'll show you more love
Than you've ever seen
You'll come undone
Trying to figure out what's inside of me
That causes me to be kind to you
When all you've done is hate me
Thinking it would cure your misery
So step aside
And watch me smile
I'll give to you, go the extra mile
Cause hatred is an ugly thing
Beauty is in love undeserved
And jealousy is the worst sting
