Nobody to love and it's a wonder to many
Somehow I'm just not charmed easily
A hopeless romantic at heart but also mysterious
I'm lovable to many, but also quite serious.
You hold your hand out for me to take,
And are surprised when I turn away.
Another comes toward me for an embrace,
I keep walking and quicken my pace.
But don't get me wrong, don't misunderstand,
It's nothing against you, you're just not the right man.
Because I know that God has a plan,
I'll be waiting patiently with everything surrendered.
It's not an easy route, but with God my heart is guarded.
I know it's safe with God until
He sends a man who fits the bill.
One who will love me and treat me right,

A forever love with joy and laughter,
